About Talia
Teaching piano has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. As both a performer and instructor, I’ve seen firsthand how music can shape focus, creativity, and confidence in powerful ways. My goal is to make every student feel that same sense of connection and possibility through their music. I approach every class with patience and empathy, adapting to each student’s personality and goals. I’ve taught children, teens, and adults — each with their own rhythm of learning. For me, progress isn’t about speed but about genuine understanding and enjoyment. Outside of lessons, I continue to perform, compose, and explore new music. I believe the best teachers remain lifelong learners, and every student I meet teaches me something new about expression and artistry.

My piano lessons are built around the idea that music should be both disciplined and deeply joyful. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already familiar with the keys, I help you connect technical understanding with musical expression. Each session includes a mix of scales, rhythm, sight-reading, and creative improvisation that keeps learning dynamic and balanced. Beginners focus on finger strength, note reading, and timing, while more advanced students work on tone control, phrasing, and interpretation. I also integrate music theory naturally, helping you understand how melodies and harmonies come together. Each lesson feels structured but never rigid — allowing freedom to explore your own sound within a solid foundation. More than just playing notes, my lessons guide students to feel the emotion behind every piece. I want each learner to walk away from the piano not only with skill but with a sense of discovery and joy that lasts a lifetime.
