About Griffin
With over 7 years of piano teaching experience, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding students of all ages and skill levels through their musical journey. My approach is rooted in patience, adaptability, and a deep passion for helping others discover the joy of playing piano. Every student brings a unique story to the keyboard, and I tailor each lesson to fit their pace and personality. I hold a formal music degree that provided a strong foundation in piano performance, theory, and education methods. Over the years, I've combined that academic background with hands-on teaching, allowing me to bridge technical skill with musical expression. My goal is not just to teach notes, but to nurture true understanding and enjoyment of music. My experience spans private lessons, group sessions, and performance coaching. I’ve worked with beginners discovering middle C, hobbyists reigniting their love for piano, and advanced students preparing for auditions or recitals. I value creating a supportive, engaging environment that encourages curiosity and builds confidence. Outside of teaching, I continue to expand my own musical skills and stay updated with new learning techniques and resources.
