My teaching style is working through questions that are easy, then tackling difficult problems with as little hand holding as possible so that the student learns independently. My aim is to help children enjoy learning maths rather than fearing It by making lessons as interactive as possible with a lot of positive reinforcement to build on their confidence.
I’ve been tutoring for 3 and a half years now both online and in person. I’ve helped my tutees gain confidence as well as significantly higher test scores in a short period of time.
I give students homework that will help in their understanding of their curriculum and if they studying for a specific exam, I help by marking and correcting past papers. Walking through papers on a pdf online is a seamless experience, for both the tutee and I.
