About Kerry
I’m an experienced secondary teacher currently working in alternative provision, where I teach Science alongside Hair & Beauty and Childcare. I’m passionate about helping young people who may lack confidence or find traditional classroom learning difficult. I’m patient, approachable and experienced in adapting my teaching style to suit individual learners, including those with additional needs.

I focus on building confidence as well as improving their understanding of Science, breaking difficult topics into simple, manageable steps. Lessons include clear explanations, guided practice and exam-style questions, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions in a relaxed, judgement-free environment.

Details
My standard rate is £30 per hour for one-to-one KS3 and GCSE Science tuition.
This includes a personalised 60-minute lesson tailored to the student's individual needs, preparation of suitable activities and questions, and brief feedback on progress where appropriate.
I'm happy to discuss your child's current needs and goals before arranging their first lesson. My aim is to provide friendly, supportive and flexible tuition that builds both understanding and confidence.
