About Ren
Hello there :) Great to meet you :) Need help with your voice? Don’t hesitate to get in touch :) I am an inspiring & encouraging tutor who wants the very best for her students. Completed ABRSM classical singing grades & LCM Popular Music Vocal Grade 6 and LAMDA grade 7. Vocal health is at the front of everything I do and I have a keen ear for tuning, vocal direction, tone production & building range. I am experienced in teaching a variety of approaches and styles from classical, to pop: to musical theatre and more. My specialisms are confidence building, developing a solid technique, vocal health maintenance & vocal hygiene. (All lessons online only, please message beforehand to arrange a lesson with me) I have a strong background in singing & performance. Having performed in touring musical theatre productions and folk, jazz & classical settings.

I have developed an excellent ear for the voice and now, in no time at all; I can guide vocalists in the right direction; finding a warm-up that suits your range and tone, creating a technique that feels almost effortless. I am always developing new ways of teaching technique and can adapt my sessions very quickly to suit the needs of my students. I have always believed, that every student learns differently from the next; so no two lessons are ever the same. I have a great knowledge of vocal health so, my lessons are taught with that at the forefront of everything we explore. My adult students come from a variety of musical backgrounds—from solo artists, choir singers, musical theatre and jazz performers, to those in indie & folk bands, and students who are just wanting to learn to sing for the well-being of it, the therapeutic benefits of singing and relaxation to connect with the music, in this sometimes chaotic world we live in. Whether you have sung before and are looking to refine your technique and to develop a steadier and reliable use of your voice, recovering your voice and range, after vocal strain after a virus, wanting to rebuild your singing confidence again or whether you have never sung before but would really like to try, whatever the reason for your lessons: we can build towards and achieve your singing goals together.
