About Ahmed

I am doing PhD form Coventry University and I am in the profession of teaching from last 3 years. I have experience of teaching 70 students in a class. I have experience of teaching Computer Networks, Algorithms and Programming Languages.

About the lesson

My teaching method involves regular short quizzes and presentations with discussion of different practical examples that help students to understand significance of topics. I have taught to the students of Bachelors of Computer Science and I like to teach in a friendly environment.

Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?
I started using computer when I was 10 years old and I was used to play different games on computer.
What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?
I believe innovation of internet is one of the biggest technological evolution. Now 4G and 5G technologies enables it to have high speed internet in hands.
Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.
I am attached with computer science since 2011 when I started my bachelors in Telecom and Networks. I really enjoyed learning about networks and how the evolved, no doubt networks are the most basic start of evolution
Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?
Yes, I think every computer science person is always inspired by these icons as they did the great work in their domains.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
When I was studying in my bachelors I some time get very curious that how these things work.
Therefore, once I tried to use some network communication protocols in order to access some computes in the lab and it was good FUN.
What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?
I would say just look around and see how IT makes your life easy.
What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?
I like to do web surfing and have quite a lot of interests in politics.
What makes you a Superprof in IT?
My experience in Computer Science lecturer make me a superprof in IT.
