About Daniel
I have studied and taught writing in a private school. I have made a special study of ancient rhetoric and the way in which the ancients taught the skill of persuasion. I am also a graduate of a master's program that was heavily focused on researching and writing. I received an award for writing the “Research Paper of the Year” at Bellevue University.

Let me take your student on a journey through the ancient progymnasmata, a series of exercises that the Ancient Greeks and Romans used to train their budding speakers. These exercises are based upon literary models and progress from simple to complex. Along the way, students learn how to structure papers, how to develop arguments, what sorts of evidence and proofs to assert, and how to describe people and things. This is a complete course best suited for ages 8-16.
