About Andrew

My name is Andrew, and I am a TEFL-certified ESL instructor with a strong academic background in psychology. I combine professional training with real-world communication experience to create structured, engaging, and results-driven English lessons. My approach is patient, supportive, and goal-oriented, ensuring that every student feels confident while improving their skills.

With years of experience in customer service and leadership roles, I understand how to communicate clearly, adapt to different personalities, and maintain professionalism at all times. I take preparation seriously and tailor each lesson to meet the specific needs of my students, whether they are beginners building foundational skills or advanced learners refining fluency.

I am committed to helping students grow in confidence, pronunciation, and practical communication so they can succeed academically, professionally, and socially.

About the lesson

My approach as a TEFL-certified ESL tutor is structured, interactive, and student-centered. I focus on building confidence first, because I believe language fluency grows when students feel comfortable speaking without fear of making mistakes. I use a communicative teaching method, which means students spend most of the lesson actively speaking, listening, and applying English in real-world situations rather than just memorizing rules.

A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up conversation to assess pronunciation and fluency. Then we move into a focused skill area such as grammar, vocabulary development, business English, or conversational practice. I incorporate role-play scenarios, pronunciation drills, and practical exercises that reflect everyday life, work environments, or academic settings. Each lesson ends with feedback, corrections, and clear action steps for improvement.

What sets me apart is my background in psychology. I understand how people learn, how confidence impacts performance, and how to adapt my teaching style to different personalities and learning speeds. I also bring strong communication skills and professionalism from years of customer service and leadership experience.

My lessons are ideal for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, including adults, professionals, and students preparing for academic or career advancement. Whether you want to improve conversational English, prepare for interviews, or build fluency for travel or relocation, I tailor each session to your specific goals.
