About Kyle

I am a coach at Eagle Mountain Volleyball Club and I currently play both indoor and sand volleyball at a high level using my own training techniques to consistently improve and rise above the competition. My focus is on both making you a great volleyball player and keeping you healthy - a point that a lot of coaches and players do not stress enough.

I love that I am able to spread my knowledge of the sport to those willing to learn and develop, allowing them to become better players.

I began as a player, and I was able to coach at Eagle Mountain Volleyball Club upon moving to Texas.

About the lesson

Ask questions, give directions, coach for results. Understanding where the player is at currently and where they want to be are the two most important parts of learning how to coach a new player.

Pre-club through 18s

Figure out how you learn. If you know how you learn (by watching, by doing, by listening) and you are willing to improve, a good coach will get you to where you want to be. Just remember, everything is a process, nothing happens overnight.

Entered a tournament uncertain of competition level and ended up winning without losing a set. My teammate was amazing.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How serious they are about the sport. If you are not certain you are truly committed to playing volleyball and you do not sincerely want to improve, then you may not like the intensity of a private lesson.
