About Francisco
As a student myself, Biology major at Sonoma State University, I know some of the struggles we face. I have tutored high school aged students for a total of 3 years and have come to meet very different personalities. I am willing to work with all students and guide to a more academically ambitious path.
I remember seeing many people around me struggle because they did not connect to the subject or the instructor. I really enjoy sharing my passion for all the sciences and mathematics to provide the students a different, more positive view on the topics.
I have been a tutor at the academic center at Burlingame High School and Sonoma State University.
I also have volunteered, many times, in high school as a support system for many younger students.

Proper introduction is key. I need to get to know the student and let the student know basic information about me so communication can be more fluid in the future. Talking about the goals of everyone (e.g. the student's, the parents'/ guardians', and mine) is also vital to figure out which learning paths should be taken. My goal is to provide a safe & comfortable enviroment for the student to learn more efficiently.
