About Anisa
Teaching students Scientific concepts and helping them understand the "why" behind all the natural phenomena in our world give me joy as a teacher.
I have a BA in Chemistry and a BA in Biology. I have my Master in Teaching and recently received my National Board certification which is the highest certification a teacher can get.
Most of my experience as teacher has been with middle school students teaching Life Science and Earth and Space science. But I also have experience tutoring high school and college students.
My students enjoy learning in my classroom as I was selected the teacher of year recently.
I have a BA in Chemistry and a BA in Biology.
I also have a Master in Teaching from Western Washington University.
I am also a National Board Certified Teacher with 6 years of experience in teaching science at secondary level.

I work with students around their available and preferred time of study. After scheduling, I ask about the current textbook/curriculum they are studying or need help with.
Based on the topic and the NGSS standards, I provide extra resources to enrich their learning above and beyond what they have access to in their textbook to really understand the concept.
I worked with various students included Gifted, ELL, students with IEP and a 504 plan.
