About Sara

Learning something new can be fun and exciting! Together we will journney into learning about food and cooking with an open heart of discovery and creation. I always enjoy the opportunity to share my passion, knowlege of ingredents and cuisines, and my culinary skills with you in a relaxing structured approach.

I Love Food! Food brings life to your senses, is intertwined with our memories and nostalgia, and can create a intimate conversation between the chef and their guest. Cooking is calculated and simple, can challenge your mental and physical toughness, is demanding and rewarding. How engergizing it is to share something you are so passionate about? For me it's thrilling! My passion for food and cooking came at a very young age. I have been working for the last 18 years for the Ritz Carlton Hotel company. Working for this luxury hotel instilled in me very high standards for food quality, cleanliness and service excellence. My mentoring and coaching experiences as a culinary trainer allowed me to see the rewards and the joy I felt in a teaching role. I have cooked and lived in New York City, San Fransico, Hawaii, and many places in between. I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of American.
