About Jean
I am a skilled and experienced French Chef, who has been working for over 10 years in French Michelin Starred restaurants in France. I have also run my own restaurant in Paris for 3 years before moving to the US. I deliver in-depth lessons to not only learn French recipes but more importantly understand the art of cooking. Through my lessons, you will be able to truly perfect your cooking skills, understand fundamentals that you will be able to replicate throughout any recipe, as well as learn to accomodate any products. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cook, I will adapt my lessons to your needs.
Cooking is my passion and I very much enjoy sharing French cuisine culture with people. I like to cook while explaining what is done, how best to do it but also why it has to be done from a technical and chemical point of view. I am most interested in mid to long term teaching opportunities to have a deep impact on your skills and technique. Sharing my passion and explaining it is what I do best!
I've been teaching cooking to friends and family since I started over 15 years ago. These days, I teach my 4 year old son how to best eat and cook.
I hold a cooking diploma from Gregoire Ferrandi Cooking School in Paris as well as my 10 years of experience in restaurants.
