About Shandra

I run a culinary arts program for survivors of gender based violence in New York and to expand the program to people who want to learn how to cook.

From 187 culinary program participants, 96% were able to cook for themself and family. Most of them were employed and many of them established their own catering business.

I love to teach people how to use knives and prepare the ingredients, cook and serve the food and I cook the food fast. I will also share my cooking technique which makes cooking more interested.

Cooking lessons offered by Shandra are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Queens. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
