About James

I am a southern raised professional chef with varied experience in everything from Italian baking to Vietnamese pho. My personal style heavily focuses on local product, responsible sourcing, and technique. Flavor is drawn from passion and care, love your cooking and it will love you back.

I will teach you how to create a full meal from a variety of ingredients and the techniques you learn can be applied to any cuisines.

I have been a professional kitchen worker in some sort of capacity since I was 15. I have done everything from run a summer camp as the head chef, to working a sushi bar, and even backstage event catering for stadium concerts.

About the lesson

Determine what the students goals are and formulating a plan to reach this goal. This can be applied in everything from basic cooking skills, cuisine specific cooking, and learning how to produce healthy quick food.

Everybody can cook. Find someone willing to describe how to work with a variety of ingredients, explore cuisine specific flavors, and most importantly technique should be explained and not merely regurgitated.
