About Cherie

Baker’s School of Dance & Fitness is a family owned and operated business that provides quality dance & fitness education for over 52 years! Sandra Bakers granddaughter Cherie is the current Owner and Director sharing the gift of dance to anyone who wants to learn! We offer a variety of lessons in classical ballet, tap, jazz, theatre dance, hip hip and lyrical/contemporary dance. Acro and stretch leaps and turns have become quite popular too! New classes offered at the studio are a variety of group fitness and adult classes that bring excitement and variety to anyone’s workout program. Private lessons available by request!

All teachers are certified to teach by Dance Educators of America and/or Dance Masters of America OR have completed Bachelors programs in Dance education, performing arts, culinary nutrition and Personal Training.

The studio is a positive and progressive learning environment that encourages children to pursue challenges and not give up! All levels are welcome! Setting and accomplishing goals as awards are meant to be achieved not given. We take pride in offering top notch Dance education in a fun recreational dance & fitness class environment.
