About Chryssie
I have been on Broadway, acted on numerous television shows such as GREYS ANATOMY and I love to pass it on. I work mainly online and have a great way of connecting with my students. I also am an adjudicator and educator at AMDA College & Conservatory for the Performing Arts in New York as well as travel for the school. I specialize in musical theatre acting, jazz, lyrical and theatre dance, as well as acting for film and television. I started working professionally straight out of high school as a Rockette and have lived in New York and Los Angeles throughout my career now of over 20 years.
I love helping my students grow and watch the light in their eyes shine brighter when they realize they have pushed themselves and also surprised themselves in a great way by doing the work. Performing Arts is a skill to be practiced all the time with joy, curiousity and openness. Being a storyteller through dance, acting and singing is a thrilling ride and I love to guide my students improving in these areas.
I started teaching guest classes after I was a Rockette. AMDA called me a few years after I graduated in 2005 to see if I would be interested in teaching. I started then and have been off and on ever since in between working as an actor/dance/singer.
Graduated with a BA in Performing Arts. Went to a conservatory in New York City for Musical Theatre - AMDA.
