About Leslie

Hi my name is Leslie! And I have been teaching art lessons for the last 10 years! Part of what makes me unique is I really care about helping people be free to express themselves, while also including classic instruction in form, shape, hue, etc!

I love seeing people create things they didn't even realize they could!

A lot of my friends wanted to learn to paint, and I met more and more parents who said their children weren't satisfied with the art classes offered in schools. I realize that in a one on one setting or in a small group, I could pass on the skills that I have worked to foster.

I took many art classes in high school, have taught art lessons for seven years, and have made a living professionally as an artist for three years.

About the lesson

First we will meet up and discuss what your goals are and what you would like to learn! Then we will make a plan so I know how to help! Whether you were looking for a comfortable time to enjoy a safe space to make art, or whether you were looking to acquire specific skill sets, I am here to help!

I have worked with all different ages!
The youngest child I taught was five years old, and I've also taught people in their 80s!
I have worked with students who want to learn to draw, watercolor, or acrylic paint.
