About Lyvia

As corny as it may sound Painting and Drawing is a major part of my life. I studied in the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas. I majored in Drawing and Painting and minored in Art History. After my years of study I am certain that every part of the human experience is art. I want to share this beautiful expression to those who have always wanted to learn, or wants to improve their skills.

I lead a mixed-media/upcycling workshop in 2016. I really enjoyed teaching people something I am really passionate about.

I have been painting and drawing for 5 years. I am currently in my last year in obtaining my Bachelors in Studio Drawing and Painting.

I personally enjoy capturing the figure. However, if that isn't the interest of the student I can work around any particular focus.

About the lesson

I would first like to see where the students skill level is by starting with a still-life. I would then like to get to know the student to see what their goals are and what they are expecting out of my lessons.

I have taught teens and pre-teens. I am available to all students of various ages from 6-99years old.
