About Mario

What makes my business and my work as an artist special and stand out is pretty simple! It's the vibe I create that you can feel through my works. It's my job to take a memory, or moment in time, and recreate the narrative or add a new vibe to that memory! Lots of my commissioned works are of passed relatives and loved ones, which can be a very sad situation to handle, but through my creativity I create the opportunity to give the client a new memeory, a happy reminder of the love they have with the person they've lost, and how special they were, instead of just thinking of their passing. It's also my job to create a conversation piece as well as one that is appealing to the viewers and tells a story.

I graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where I studied Visual Art, which included drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and computer graphics.

I then went on to graduate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) where I majored in Painting and recieved my BFA Degree.

I was given the opportunity to work for Wentworth Art Gallery briefly, and I've over the past 4 years cultivated my own group of art collectors who have become recurring clientele and collectors of my Artwork.

I have put on my very own Gallery showings, as well as been apart of group Art Showcases.

I currently host private paint parties for small groups as well as a creative outlet and fun experience for those who may not have normally thought about learning to express themselves through visual art.

About the lesson

I usually like to have a conversation with the student first to see where they are with their creative skills, as well as where they are in terms of art knowledge and education. I then make it a huge point to discuss exactly what the students goals are with our lessons and the things they're interested in learning, to help create a plan of action, making sure that I also take a look at their current works.
