About Kat

I would like to tailor this experience around you and what you would like to learn.

I will come with a perpared lesson and then will help you start the painting or excersise that you will finish throughout the week.

I love creating I've done it since I was a kid. Starting with jean pocket purses and slowly transitioned into art. I an now a practicing studio artist and would like to teach peole what I know.

I love helping others learn about something I already enjoy. I also learn new things from the people I teach, it's just as much of a learning experince for me to.

I was a leader in my University's Studio so intro students would come to me with questions. I would guide them to the best of my abilities.

So I am just starting to teach because I found joy in helping someone learn what I love.

I just graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art- Studio Arts- Emphasis in Ceramics from Wichita State University in Wichita, KS. I also have an Assoicates in Art from Butler Community College in El Dorado, KS.

After my 5 years of studying and creating I am comfortable with instructing people.

I am a very paitent person and have worked with all sorts of people within the University's setting. Im open to teaching anyone who wants to learn about art.

Find someone that you can get along and mesh well with, they will help you be open to trying knew techniques and styles. The lessons should be enjoyable to you, not a hasstle.

I haven't been to any events lately due to Covid-19.

I did get together with family and organ recipents that recieved my mom organs after her passing. It was nice to meet the people that were changed by her life.

$ 45 per lesson which gets you a lesson and up to 3 hours of my guidance. If you want more than 3 hours it will increase by $15.
