About Sandra
I possess a dual degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Data Analytics from the University of Maryland. I am a full-time employee with the federal government, and am looking to share my knowledge with others. Please feel free to reach out if you think we may be a good fit!
I have tutored middle school students in Writing and Math at the Kumon center for a total of 2 years. While in college as an undergraduate, I reached a level of proficiency that allowed me to tutor both undergraduate-level and graduate-level students in the fields of Accounting, Economics, and Statistics.

The first step in my tutoring process is to acquaint myself with the student's learning style. I find this step to be crucial in forming a path for the student's understanding of the subject matter. From there, I will form a study plan based on the goals of the student. Once the plan has been set, we are ready to execute and reach the goals that are set out. Every lesson will be used to ensure that previous material is being build upon, and real understanding of the subject matter is being made.
I have worked with middle-school age, undergraduate level, and graduate level students.
