About Lisette

I have 14 years experience as a teacher, in public, private, and international schools in three countries. I have also worked with families as they begin their homeschool journeys, advising on curricula and the practical details of making the transition from traditional schooling.

I believe that with the right tools and information, most families can sucessfully educate their children at home. As we face much incertainty about schools this coming fall, many parents have already seen the limitations of online learning and digital classes. If you are considering other options for your children, I would love to talk to you about how to help your children succeed, despite the uncertainties of the 2020-2021 school year.

I love seeing children reach their potential- and families find the solutions they need! I believe that most families can successfully educate their children at home, given the right tools.

I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, and 15 years of teaching experience in elementary and middle school.

About the lesson

I believe in working with families-- not just with children!

As parents, you know your child best. I begin by talking with parents- about their expectations, their hopes, and their childrens' needs.

I like to begin with an initial assessment to determine the needs of the student, then discuss a recommended plan of action with the parents.
