About Eva
Tutoring young kids is so important to me because it shows those who are struggling that they are important and worthy of help. I always try to make my sessions fun and educational by combining things that appeal to younger generations with strategies proven to spark understanding in a child's brain. It is crucial to ensure the success of our country's future starting with a little extra help from an online tutor. When a client starts to enjoy a subject that they struggle with, I know that I have done my job correctly. Until they do I won't stop at anything to get to that point. I hope that my style of teaching appeals to you and your child and that you reach out for any further interest!
The tutoring services I provide are geared specifically towards children ages 5-10 and grades K-5. I have prior experience working with children and making learning fun. The typical student experiences not only a tutor who will help to improve whatever subject a child may be struggling with, but also a trusted mentor who they can confide in for advice in test taking and studying strategies. The encouraging and playful environment that students experience will both keep them on task and allow the child to effectively absorb new content. The typical process for working with a new student is a simple "get to know you" interview. I ask the parents what areas they're child is struggling in as well as talk to the child directly regarding how they feel about the subject they struggle with. This allows me to understand what improvements the parents expect to see and gain trust with the child to ensure a comfortable learning environment.
