About Chrissy
As a current teacher my passion is not just to see my students learn to move to the next grade or level in their education. I desire to see each and every student elevate in their character as well. With extensive experience coupled personalized sessions my students are guaranteed life changing results!
I enjoy impacting the life of each individual student not just their mind but their perspective. I love seeing my students grow confidence in themselves, when I see their character changing for the better I feel like I'm doing what I'm supposed to.
I initially took an interest in teaching during a high school internship. I didn't know how much I loved teaching until i was actually doing it. As soon as I started seeing the growth in my students and their different personalities and learning styles, I fell in love with teaching. I'd have to say my favorite part is seeing my students excited about their growth.

When initially starting with a student I test and observe their learning styles, abilities and capacity. From there I develop a personalized session that challenges their mind and is tailored to their learning style.
I usually work with ages 4-8 years old in general education
and ages 15-22 in business coaching
When looking for a great teacher look for someone who wants to bring out your greates potential. Matter of fact, someone who desires for you to see your potential! The definition of a treasure hunt is a search for treasure. You want to be taugh my someone who will search for the treasure in you. They're on a treasure hunt to bring that great treasure out in you.
Recently one of my students was learning the concept of ending sounds and blending sounds. He was struggling with this concept during our first few sessions but as we went further he began to connect the dots more and more. Yesterday he looked at the word match and immediately sounded out "Mat" and added the newly learned "ch" sound. He hesitantly said "match" almost as if he was adding a question mark at the end. A smile flashed across my face "YES YES MATCH, you did it" I told him. His confidence shot through the roof. For the rest of our session he read each word with that confidence. It was amazing.
