About Naomi

I will be starting 7th grade in August. I am willing to help with Math and reading under grade 4. I would charge a minimum of $11-13 per hour. I have had all advanced classes since 1st grade and I have helped my little brother, friends and my friends' younger siblings. I can only tutor in my home. I have always loved to help with school related matters and I have actually always wanted to be a tutor. Since I will be at home my mom is also a babysitter on care.Com and she is certified in Adult/Infant CPR and First Aid (If they need it which they most likely won't, and she's Bilingual English and Spanish)I am pretty nice with kids but I will be THAT girl that will push them like my Mom, dad and my teachers have pushed me to be a better person and a better student. One thing that I have learned is that if they try they can Succeed and I will make sure that they ALWAYS try their hardest and reach for the stars.

At times when My Brother got home from school whilsy my mom took care of dinner I took it upon myself to help my brother with his home work When he needed help. This is when I realized that I had the patience and willingness to help and teach. I have been doing it ever since

I have been in all advanced/ magnet classes since 2nd grade and I tutor my little brother. I also help my mom with babysitting and sometimes teach the toddlers of they're old enough to learn

About the lesson

Get to know the student and find out how they learn best to make the teaching/helping Process easier for them and myself. Then See what they need help with and find something that fits them

Only my brother So far

Make sure they are the kind of teacher that pushes you while being patient and let's you feel comfortable asking for help, but doesn't act like your mom. A tutor should be a friend that is understanding to your way of learning and the help you need, not a second mom or dad.
