About Christen

I love to teach reading & writing! I am doing a lot of that myself as I work toward my PhD!

*I taught fourth and fifth grade for 20 years

*I taught teachers how to teach for four years as an Instructional coach

*I've been teaching English as a second language for the past eight years as a work toward my EDD & PhD

Come! Let's learn together!

About the lesson

I like to begin by developing a relationship with the student to get to know their likes, dislikes, strengths, and areas for growth.

From here, I work with the student, parents, and the student's teachers to determine the best course of action.

My instructional Scott style is very interactive, scaffolding the students skills over time!
