About Stefano

Hello! I’m Stefano Rhodes, a Year 10 student based in North London. I have a unique background, having been born in London to a Colombian mother and raised in Hong Kong, China. This international experience has given me a broad perspective on both cultural diversity and educational systems.

I have a deep passion for Maths, Computer Science, and Science, and I am always eager to share my knowledge with others. In addition to academics, I am an avid football player and a dedicated chess enthusiast. Recently, I participated in the Senior Maths Challenge and was selected for the UKMT Olympiad Mentoring Programme, which has been an exciting opportunity to further my mathematical skills.

Currently, I am also tackling A-level content in Maths and Chemistry as part of my school’s advanced curriculum. Although I’m new to teaching, my academic achievements and enthusiasm for helping others make me confident in my ability to guide students in their studies. I am here to offer tailored, approachable support to help you excel in your studies—whether it's Maths, Science, or Computing. Let’s work together to achieve your academic goals!

About the lesson

I offer tutoring for students up to Year 9 across a range of subjects, including Maths, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Whether you need focused subject teaching or homework support, I am here to help you understand and master key concepts.

Languages:

English: Fluent
Cantonese: Advanced (able to understand, but speaking is still developing)
Spanish: Intermediate
French: Intermediate (currently learning)

Lesson Length:
There is no strict time limit, though sessions are ideally up to 3 hours to ensure focused learning and retention.

Teaching Approach:
I combine school-based techniques with a range of creative methods to teach concepts, ensuring lessons are engaging, interactive, and tailored to the individual student’s needs.
