About Ashley

I am a 29 year old elementary school teacher. I have tutored for a few years here and there, but am looking to take on a few more learners after school hours, and possibly on weekends. I have my bachelor's degree in elementary education for grades k-8. I have experance in the classroom with grades 1, 3, and 4. I have also tutored learners in various grades including middle school. I can provide a letter of recommendation for a family I currently work with, along with recommendations for my district.

I have always loved working with kids, which then ended up with me going to college for my degree and to this day I still absolutley love what I do!

About the lesson

I enjoy spending some time with the learner and getting to know them before jumping right into working.

Everyone learns diffrent, and it's nice to get to know how each learner I work with learns so we can get them set up with a plan that works perfectly for them!

I have worked with various kinds of students. I teach general education, but spent a few years working as a tech in special education before getting my own classroom.

I charge a base rate of 40 an hour, but have a seperate rate for travel based on how far I will have to travel to meet with a family.
