About David

We offer a FREE first lesson.

My teaching method is uniquely customized for each student. We all learn differently, and we are all motivated very differently as well. I find what excites each student to make learning FUN and FAST.

Most of my beginner students will leave their first or second lesson already knowing how to play one of their favorite songs and the instrument that they are taking lessons on. This is very unique among lesson studios. Again...an excited student is a motivated one.

We teach and have many years of experience with special needs students of all levels of function.

I love passing on what I have learned throughout my life, education, and career in music. Whether the student is planning on making music their career, or simply taking lessons as a hobby, I find it very rewarding to teach people things that they thought impossible.

Began teaching directly out of college and have been teaching privately for over 25 years.

I have been a touring musician for many well known artists and entertainers for over 20 years. I have a degree in music education and many years of experience teaching children, adults, and special needs.

About the lesson

My approach changes based upon multiple variants. Age, goals, current level, natural abilities/gifts, physical challenges, as well as many others. I also try to evaluate what unique motivators can be utilized for each student, as we all are excited and motivated by different things. My experience has shown me that a passionate and excited student learns faster, practices more, and gains confidence quicker.

I work with anyone who wants to learn. Students of any age or level are encouraged to inquire about lessons. Beginner to advanced, I will be able to offer you fun and professional lessons.

You should hire an instructor that you can connect with. Someone who is not just opening a book, but is always seeking to understand what excites you. You should also think about what your specific goals are, so that you can more easily match up with a potential instructor.

Lessons are typically 30 - 45 minutes in length and cost $25. The first lesson/consultation is always FREE. I offer discounts for multiple or group lessons, as well as discounts for prepayments. I also offer generous referral discounts as well.
