About Cliff

I gear the lessons to fit the individual needs of each student. I enjoy teaching the students what they really want to kearn, like cool songs and technique. Ive been teaching hundreds of music lovers for over twenty years now. I love teaching rock, metal, blues, folk, country, Spanish guitar, funk, improvising, theory, ear training, crazy scales, fancy chords and much more!

When I was in middle school, I used to teach my friends cool things on the piano and guitar. I started teaching music at a local music shop while attending college in San Diego and I've been teacing ever since.

I am a graduate of the musicians institute of technology and I studied music at San Diego state university and other schools.

About the lesson

I like to get a feel for where the student is at musically and what they want out of the lessons. I enjoy right away teaching fun stuff on their instrument.

I’ve taught hundreds of music lovers including children, teenagers, adults and seniors.

Try to find a teacher that is a good fit. Make sure the student likes the teacher and that they have good chemistry. Of course make sure they are knowledgeable in their field and that they teach efficiently.

My band and I recently performed at a club in north Hollywood. I especially liked that gig. Somehow the lights, the synergy and the energy was on that night.

Try to find out if the teachers styles of music fit the needs of what the student is looking for...rock, Jazz, classical, blues, etc.
