About Hunter
For over five years, I have been teaching guitar lessons. I have a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from the Crane School of Music. Whatever a student's goal may be, I will always help them achieve it.
I am so passionate about teaching music lessons. The excellent thing about teaching is that it is a passageway of learning for students and teachers alike. Not only am I inspired when my students are learning, but I actually learn from my students as well.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance and a Minor in Composition from the Crane School of Music.

In a student's first lesson, we will begin by identifying the parts of the guitar. After this, we will explore the process of plucking the string and how to generate sounds from the instrument. We will then discuss goals that the student wishes to accomplish. Finally, we will play simple chords, and begin an introduction to music-reading.
I have worked with students of many demographics. I have worked with adults many years my senior, as well as students as young as seven. I have taught students who were beginners and students who were very advanced.

Hunter is a great guitar teacher. He is patient and detail-oriented, but his intensity does not take away at all from his ability to teach a really fun lesson. He is smart, funny, and very easy to get along with and feel comfortable around. He is a very experienced guitar player and musician. His fluency with music theory and reading make him a great teacher for academically-oriented students as well as casual players. Hunter is awesome and I would encourage anyone to take a lesson with him!
