About Michael

Lessons from someone with decades of real world musical experience, and a masters in teaching music.

It's all notes. I've worked with everyone from P Diddy to Jimmy Dean.

Hearing a student play something differently than how I would play it is an indescribable joy.

People heard me play, heard me sing, and wanted to know what I know.

Decades of real world experience as a working musician.

I'm on platinum tracks. I've done Broadway, music for film, toured the world.

And I have a Master's in Music Education.

About the lesson

1. Learn what's important to the student. Music is large.

2. Determine what they already know, and what they don't.

3. Begin showing them how they can get from Point B (where they are) to Point A (where they want to be)!

I've worked with students of every level and almost every age. No one younger than 6, please.

Don't choose a teacher who is going to teach what he wants to teach.

I helped a student prepare to get into Laguardia High School. That's the school that was immortalized in FAME.
