About Chris
At CGS....We take a highly personalized approach to everyone's individual goals. Everyone is unique, everyone is an individual and everyone hears music differently. It's my passion to help others achieve what they hear in their musical imagination. I have had thousands of students on every level since 1998 and I am confident I can help those who are seeking their own voice, on the most expressive instrument on the planet :)
I have recorded several instrumental Guitar Records, been on many compilations with players such as Jimmy page, BB King, Andy Timmons, Billy Sheehan and many more. I have also as a performer played on stages with artists such as Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen and many others.
I have taken thousands of lessons, classes, and workshops to feed my own passion... and my own musical goals... And it is an equally rewarding passion for me to help others achieve their's

I work individually with each student to meet them exactly where they are at. Having had thousands of students, I have the experience of recognizing the strong points and the issues that need cultivating rather quickly. I generally establish a program that gives a client a glimpse into the very near future as a starting point, and of course, because Music is an art, we can deviate from that at any time as I find sometimes peoples interests and goals can change in an instant.
