About Jonathan
I have been teaching for over 30 years. I encourage ear training and improvisation as well as earning theory but make it fun. All ages and styles are taught. You can just learn some songs you like or take it as far out as you want to go. References and video available.
Friends, bandmates and people at a music store kept asking if I would teach them.
3 years private study with Linc Chamberland ((concealed information)
several courses including Composition and Electronic music at NVCC
Several years as a solo performer and with a band.

I have had many years experience getting what people are about musically. Once I understand their strengths and needs for improvement I taylor lessons for them. I believe I can give students a strong understanding of how music functions (harmony theory etc) and make it fun.

Along side of learning songs you like, begin building a foundation to help you grow and expand musically for a lifetime. Music can make you feel good, build confidence, reduce stress and bring joy to others
