About Caelan

Hey there! My name is Caelan F, and I’ve been a musician for over a decade. Playing guitar and drums has always been my passion and I hope to share that with the youth of today.

I began my career in music by playing the drums in my local churches orchestra, continued on to drum line in high school, and from there, picked up the guitar and taught to myself to play. I have since gone on to help form the band Billy & The Kidz, a successful rock band in the Portland music scene that I am still apart of today!

After graduating high school I went to Foot Hill College online and earned my AA in Music with an emphasis on music theory.

I am experienced in tutoring students with a beginner and intermediate level of the craft and look forward to speaking with you on how I can best help you, or your child, grow their musical skill set!

About the lesson

Guitar lessons offered by Caelan are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Vancouver. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

I really enjoyed working with him because he was great at explaining the fundamentals of music theory, showing how to play chords through example, and working with me at the very slow pace I was picking it up with. Caelan is a very kind and adaptive instructor and I have referred him to others who were hoping to learn guitar. I would not be able to play the way I can without his guidance.
