About Neil

Since I was a just a little whipper, music has always been the most truthful language to give & receive communication.

I began with piano at age four, drums at age ten, and guitar at age fourteen, with other instruments peppered in & around then for good measure.

Professionally, I have been a part of music in front of & behind the glass since I was seventeen.

I have played in a number of projects here in the LA underground; and, as a solo artist, I have toured North America five times & Europe once so far.

Recently, I have been working on my own how-to book, based on the lessons I have been teaching over the years.

I'd love to share the lessons I have learned with you.

Really, the most rewarding part of teaching lessons is the feeling of transmission between like minds.

Whether the person is the teacher or the student, both learn & grow in the space they create together, and when the ideas flow, both connect to a transmission with some kind of great mystery, steadily revealing itself over time.

That feeling of connection, transmission, & growth is precisely what keeps me in the field of teaching & artistry, in no matter what phase of my life I happen to be.
