About Ken

I let the students have FUN whilst they're learning and allow them to ask questinos theat they "always wanted to know".

I love it when a student works on a song or piece of music and comes to me and says: "look what I can do".

I started teaching guitar and ukulele for the last three years and I will continue to do so, wherever I live in future

I have been an educator for over 20 years and playing guitar both in bands and indivually at gigs or at Open Mic's for the better part of my life.

About the lesson

Firstly, I find out what they are interested in learning: chords, lead, playing songs, playing out in a group or as and individual, or just playing around a fire-pit or campfire. Then I structure my lessons on the skills that will help them be successful AND most importantly, have FUN playing.

EVery age from 7 to 70.

Look for someone that will make it FUN, whilst you're learning

I was given a student that had another guitar instructor at the "school" at which I taught. She was an older lady that felt "frustrated" and "stagnated" with the previous instructor. From the first, I put her at ease with funny stories, laughter, and shwoing her "tricks" that the "by-the-book" instructor hadn't shown her. She now smiles, laughs asks good questions and requests songs that SHE wants to learn...
