About Shani
My business is tutoring. My job is to help you understand whatever material is challenging you. My goal is see you succeed. I'm on Team You.
I offer tutoring services in History (American, European, and World), Government, and Politics (U.S. and Comparative) at the K-12 and College Levels.
I don't believe in just memorizing facts and concept. It is important to own the material you study. This involves making it meaningful to you, the student, and thinking about it critically. I use whatever works to help you learn: Pictures, Movies, Music, Articles, etc. The goal is student success.
Feedback is always welcome!
Watching someone gain confidence through learning is the best part of being tutor. Often, students avoid subjects they might enjoy because they are intimidated by the material. Knowledge should never be out of reach.
I love to discuss politics, history and current events. Learning about other people's points of view is one of the best ways you can educate yourself and learn how to think critically. These are all skills that teach you to be a better problem silver and team member. Helping students learn these skills is something I am passionate about because they a critical to success is so many areas of life.
