About Jesse
I am a martial arts teacher who was a chief instructor for the world renowned Hwa Rang Do Association, a discipline that is comprehensive of striking and grappling (standup and ground fighting) as well as weapons training. I hold a sixths degree black belt in that art form as well as a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. My background extends to archery and I was introduced to Tai Chi Chuan by Martial Arts Hall Of Famer Marshall Ho.
My teachers include Vincente Montenegro, Gil Kim, Grandmaster Joo Bang Lee, Bob Duggan and Mando Urquidez. Some of my most notable students are Rick O'Kane (Full Contact Karate World Champion, Founder of Mongoose Boxing and Muay Thai), Lance Whitaker (Bronze medalist, Super Heavy Weight Boxing Contender), Nipo Muceno (LAPD Officer and trainer), as well as the LAPD C.R.A.S.H. Anti Gang Unit which I personally prepared. My instructional tape also featured in Black Belt Magazine by Threat Response System. I was one of the first graduates of Executive Security International, created by Bob Duggan as an elite bodyguard school.
