Kuk Sool Won is a Traditional Korean Martial Arts Association with over 400 schools in 26 countries. Founded in 1958 by Kuk Sa Nim In Hyuk Suh, Kuk Sool is a soft/hard style that combines fitness with self defense. Kuk Sool Won Curriculum: Hand Techniques, Leg Techniques, Throwing and Grappling, Joint Lock Techniques, Falling and Acrobatics, Body Conditioning, Animal-Style Techniques, Traditional Korean Weapons, Martial Arts Healing Methods, Meditation and Breathing. Health Benefits Physical: Cardio, Strength, Flexibility, Agility & Coordination, Power & Explosiveness Mental: Focus/Concentration, Confidence, Self-Esteem, Perseverance Etiquette-Respect Instructor of Kuk Sool Won Murphy Hong Jin Cho 2nd Degree Black Belt & WKSA Licensed Instructor
The sheer variety of things to learn is what has kept me in Kuk Sool Won so long with all of the other options out there. There is always something new and different to learn about.
I have been training in Kuk Sool Won since 2003 and I am currently in the process of testing for my 3rd degree black belt. I receive training for an 8th degree master who has trained since a very young age.
I have experience teaching students in a wide range of ages and try to tailor my lessons to be interesting, invigorating, and educational.
