About Hunter
Looking to for an engaging and fun way to get in shape and learn to defend yourself at the same time? Try learning mixed martial arts techniques and workouts! As a lifelong wrestler, bjj blue belt, mma competitor, and Highland Park head wrestling coach my passion is to grow the martial arts community and show that it really is something for everyone.
I took a side job as a wrestling coach while working as a chef. I realized almost immediatly that teaching/coaching is my real passion.
I have wrestled for 9 years, trained bjj for 7, and I have around 5 years of various striking training (boxing, muay Thai).

New students are my favorite type of student to work with as they are sponge like and typically filled with curiosity. New students will get a free 30 min lesson to find out what their individual needs will be.
Most of my experience has been with youth, but I have experience coaching adults as well.
Research the sport and think about why you want to train. Most important is to keep an open mind.

My Goal is to spread martial arts as a way for anyone to get in shape and gain confidence, so I keep the prices low. Lessons last around 1 hour.
