About Rick
I love helping people feel safe in any environment and want to help them feel they can handle almost any situation.
As a shooter over the past 25+ years, I'm familiar with many firearms and have a very good understanding of how to operate virtually every firearm safely. I also have been a martial arts practitioner since 1980 and can help instruct on how to incorporate hand-to-hand combat if the need arises.

Our first meeting, we can meet in your home or my office where it is safe to go over the fundamentals of self-defense and/or handling a firearm before we fire a single round at the range. Then we can go to the range to help you learn to use your firearm or help you decide which one is best for you to purchase.
Usually, I work with beginning students who are eager to learn the basics of firearms handling and/or have not purchased a firearm and need help choosing which is right for them.
Make sure they are certified by the NRA as a pistol instructor or whatever type of firearm you are looking to purchase.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should talk to the instructor in person and make sure the instructor understand their individual needs before choosing one. In order to progress and improve, the basics must be learned to a point of reflex before going forward. The foundation of using a firearm are the basic rules (laws).

Details
Pricing depends on the level or degree of instruction sought. Some people just want the basics of their firearms and their handling taught and some want a lot more. It also depends on the student's ability to feel comfortable and handle the firearm to their level of comfort.
