About Christine
I've had extensive experience as a tutor since high school and it's always been an inspiring passion for me to teach and help students achieve their goals. I attend UC Berkeley and will become a Sophomore next Fall and I am currently working as a consulting analyst for MasterClass.

My typical process is asking them where they are and first to understand how much they already understand. Depending on their level of understanding of the subject, I like to go over it again as a review for a better foundation and help them catch up to their course material as best as possible. When the student is caught up, I would continue to advise them and help them to preview the material in that class.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The student needs to be clear about how much they understand the topic so that time spent with me can be used to go over topics that they are unfamiliar with, instead of assessing how much they know.

Details
I usually start at $30/hr for elementary, middle, and high school coursework and $40/hr for higher level subjects in high school, such as AP classes and or SAT/ACT exam prep. For college level courses, I charge $50/hr.
