About Noelle
I got started tutoring at Ohio University's Academic Achievement Center as an undergraduate in 2018. I was drawn to the job because I enjoy math, I wanted to improve my understanding of mathematics through teaching, and seeing students improve is incredibly rewarding.
- I have a B.S. in Neuroscience from Ohio University with minors in m+Mathematics and Biological Sciences
- I am an M.A. student in Philosophy at Georgia State University with a concentration in Neurophilosophy
- I am a College Reading and Learning Association certified tutor

When I first meet a student, I ask questions to find out what they hope to get out of tutoring. Once I have a sense of their goals, together we make a plan to accomplish them. I encourage students to come prepared with goals or particular topics in mind, but if you are not sure what kind of help you need I am happy to talk with you about that.
I have tutored primarily college and high school students who are proficient in English. I have some experience with middle school students and older adult college students. I have tutored international students, students with learning disabilities, student athletes.
