About Lilliana
I am a recent Fairfield University graduate with a degree in bioengineering and m currently working full time as a lab assistant in the food industry. I have a strong background in tutoring. I was a math tutor in high school, and tutored Intro to Electric Circuits in college. I also currently work at Mathnasium where I tutor students grades K-12 in math. I have done in person and virtual tutoring and look forward to working with you and helping you excel!
I love working with students and attributing to their personal success and growth as an individual. It is extremely rewarding to hear the student finally "get it" or that they have a great time in their session.
I began teaching as an employee of Mathnasium. This introduced me to a unique style of tutoring that prepared me well to transfer to an online setting such as this!
I graduated from Fairfield University in May 2020 with a bioengineering degree. Throughout college, I tutored many of my peers in math and engineering courses. In addition, I worked part time at my local Mathnasium for three years, where I worked with students in grades K-12 in improving and accelerating their math skills.

Please send in an inquiry through this website. I will review and reach out if we match qualifications. I am currently only doing remote tutoring through Zoom. I will send you a link to my personal Zoom room. I will have a whiteboard open so we can go through problems that way. I do ask that, if possible, students keep their cameras on throughout the session so that we can see each other face to face (this will make for a more beneficial session!).
I have worked with students of all ages and levels. I have worked with students as young as kindergarten, and as old as my own peers. I also have experience with students with learning disabilities, which has made me a very patient teacher.

Details
My pricing is per hour and depends on the level of difficulty of the topic (ie. if it is high school math or higher, I will normally charge more as it takes longer to prep for those sessions). There are no refunds/discounts for any session.
I accept payments through Venmo or PayPal only. I require payment be sent at least 2 hours prior to the lesson. If this is not possible, please reach out and we can arrange differently.
