WorldWise Tutoring is a full-service Tutoring company that offers on-site services in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, as well as Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. WorldWise Tutoring also offers remote lessons to anywhere in the world using free online resources.

Tutoring is so enjoyable because I get to help students learn skills that they can use in multiple subjects and for their entire academic career. Our lessons are tailored to the student’s specific needs, helping them to learn strategies that work best for them.

I became involved in various internships to assess how to best use my degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Math. One internship involved education - and I was in love. I went back to school to obtain my teaching credential. I was a classroom teacher for 5 years. Then I started tutoring full-time.

My tutors and I have a broad range of educational backgrounds. All are college graduates. Some have their Masters or PhDs.

About the lesson

I speak with the student, parents, and relevant teaching professionals to assess the student’s specific needs. Then I suggest 2-3 tutors who I think would be a good fit.

My tutors and I have worked with students ranging from 4th grade to adult. Some of our students have Learning Difficulties. Others are advanced and looking for enrichment. Still others are seeking general cross-curricular strategies. We are experienced working with students of all ages, all abilities, and with various needs.

Just because a person has a degree in a subject does not necessarily mean that are good at explaining the subject. Make sure your tutor has actual experience tutoring.
