About Ak

Each student has a unique way of learning. If a student is having difficulty in mathematics or science, or getting low scores on major tests, chances are, the student is trying to understand the subjects in a way that is different from the way the STUDENT learn things.

Once you learn how YOU learn, there is nothing you cannot learn. I use a technique that quickly identifies your unique learning style; then I help you fill gaps in your previous learning while at the same time help you build confidence in the subject. Once your learning barriers are removed you will be amazed how fast and easily you approach and solve just about any math or science problem you encounter.

I love to see the individual achievement and increased confidence of each student. That is why I say that Once You Learn How You Learn, There is Nothing You cannot learn!

From the time I was a child I knew I wanted to be a math and science teacher. I took my first teaching job at age 23.

I have an earned degree in Engineering Physics, and I have taught mathematics and science in public schools, private schools and at the university level.

About the lesson

I first get an idea of the student's learning style. Some people learn by seeing, some by hearing and some by doing. I first discover HOW a student best learn. I then discover where the students "learning gaps" are. We then design a learning plan that fits the students, learning style, goals and objectives.

I have worked successfully with students from various cultures, backgrounds and levels of achievement.

Pick an instructor who is skilled, compassionate, thoughtful but tough. That instructor will insure that your learning is fast and strong.

I recently helped a young man score 5's on all of his AP tests which allowed him to enter the University of Texas at near sophomore status because he was given credit for all his AP scores.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A student should have a idea about his/her learning goal. Does the student want to pass a major test? Does he or she want to catch up on past lessons that were missed? Or does the student want to build confidence and skill?

Standard pricing is $46 per session. I give very good discounts when students sign up for multiple sessions. My sessions fees go as low as $25.
