I charge based on the level of math needed.  The higher levels require more resources, so I charge more for Algebra, Geometry and Calculus instruction.  For basic general math help, I charge $20 per hour.  If my students require a weekly rate, I usually charge $100 per week with multiple sessions available during the week.  For higher mathematics topics, I charge between $30 and $45 per hour depending on how much help is needed, and I adjust this pay scale based on length of time involved.
