About Anthony
I have 5 years of middle and high school math teaching experience and 10 years of math tutoring experience.
I enjoy tutoring more than classroom teaching because I find it rewarding seeing individual growth in my students.
I went to school to become a teacher.

If a new student has homework or a study guide to work on, we start there. If during this process, I identify a shortcoming in my student's foundational mathematics understanding, I will take a tangent to fill in the hole.
3rd graders to college sophomores.
Look for someone with a very strong foundational understanding in their subject area. It's also important to find someone you can understand, get along well with, and learn from.

Students should admit areas that they struggle with. There's nothing to be ashamed of if you don't fully understand a concept. No one is "bad at math." They just don't know as much as they need to YET.
